CAC ENABLEMENT: Access to the DLA Data Discovery Portal requires use of a Common Access Card
When logging into the Portal, a dialog box populated with at least two certificates will appear. Select your identity certificate. This certificate does NOT contain the word EMAIL in the Issuer column. Once you have selected the correct certificate, click OK to proceed. If you are not prompted for a digital certificate when your CAC card is inserted, please contact your local IT Helpdesk support for assistance.
Please also ensure TLS v1.0 is enabled on your web browser. To check your settings, first select "Tools" from the Menu Bar and then "Internet Options" from the list of choices. When the dialog box appears, select the "Advanced" tab and then scroll down to the Security section and ensure "Use TLS 1.0" is selected. If you do not have the capability to make this setting change, please contact your Administrator.
I have a new CAC card and I can no longer log into the Data Discovery Portal. What's wrong?
If you have recently received a new CAC card and are unable to log on to the portal, you may have to re-establish your certificates with GCSS. To re-establish your certs, logon to the GCSS portal at https://gcss61.csd.disa.mil/gcssportal using your non-email certificate. After successfully logging onto the GCSS portal you should be able to now logon to the Data Discovery Portal once again.
When attempting to logon to the Discovery Portal I am receiving a page cannot be displayed error. I have been able to logon and use the portal in the past. What's happened?
We have encountered an issue with IE where a certificate path is keeping them from logging into the portal. We have created a procedure to correct this issue. Follow the steps in the attached slides for a solution to the problem.
